Vasa Park, located in the Santa Monica Mountains, has an extensive history that dates back to 1933 with the creation of the Vasa Kommittee. The purpose of the Vasa Kommittee was to strengthen the bonds between Scandinavian lodges by arranging one or more events yearly. For a number of years the Kommittee arranged annual picnics at various sites throughout Southern California. In 1950 the first Vasa Day was held to celebrate the completed purchase of the then 24 acre park to be utilized to celebrate families, friends and to share the beauty of the park with others. Over the past sixty years, Vasa Park has evolved into something spectacular catering to countless festivals, picnics and parties. A place filled with magic and excitement, Vasa Park services not only the local Conejo Valley community but the entire Los Angeles Area with it’s various offerings from Summer Camps to Picnics and Parties. Vasa Park has proven to be the most wondrous location for event hosting in all of Southern California.
We’re more than just a park, we’re an experience
